Dear Friends of the St. Augustine Catholic Church,
On behalf of the St. Augustine Catholic Church family in New Roads, Louisiana, I humbly extend this greeting to inform you of our upcoming Bazaar, an old-fashioned Church Fair, titled: God is Good. The event will take place on Saturday, October 10 – Sunday, October 11, 2026 and will be held on the church grounds.
Traditionallv. for 80 plus vears, it was customary for St Augustine Catholic Church to hold an annual church fair to raise funds for the church. The decision to return to this time-honored tradition of church fund raising, after twenty years, was decided under the current leadership of Father Joseph Benjamin, SSJ in October 2025.This event holds both historical and sentimental value for multiple generations of St Augustine parishioners and community.
What can you expect? The St. Augustine Church Bazaar is a family-friendly event with the entire community in mind. We will have a variety of activities for both children and adults, vendors, lots of good food, music, and entertainment. There will be something for everyone!
